Profhilo is an injectable anti-aging skin treatment containing the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is formulated for skin that lacks elasticity and volume.
It is different because it has a slow release of hyaluronic acid which stimulates collagen and elastin. As HA is hydrophilic which means it draws water towards itself and holds from your body, so Profhilo acts as a hydrator rather than a dermal filler. This transformation takes place within 3 to 6 days of HA treatment.
Within the next few weeks, elastin and collagen production is stimulated which produces a secondary effect of lifting, firming and tightening. It is injected below the surface of the skin one month apart.
